Now obviously I won’t be updating this blog ever as much as before, but well it’s already had a long run.

A couple updates for this blog. I’ve just about hit 3000 followers likeomgsrslywtf which is just awesome. Seriously I can’t thank you all enough.
The purpose of this blog was to improve on my skills, which I can safely say has happened. I know I still have a long way to go, but it’s funny looking back.
Onto other things..The tutorial is pretty much being axed, only because of the fact that I don’t really have anything new to bring to the table. Other tutorials pretty much cover all bases.
The last thing to mention…I might be moving on to making a new ask blog. As much as I love Rarity, I’ve simply run out of things to do..A new character would be a total fresh breath of air.
Side by side comparison for those that wonder what my base looks like. The most messiest, but most important step to drawing.
It’s all about the layers. Oh and if you’re using a tablet, before you start anything it is critical to configure the settings of your pen/stylus.
That’s the secret of smooth thin lines…well kinda
